Appeal for witnesses following serious injury road traffic collision – A34 Oxfordshire

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision that happened on the A34, between Milton Interchange and Chilton Interchange.

At just after 1.05pm yesterday (20/11) a collision occurred on the A34 southbound carriageway between a Fiat Ducato Dropside and a Volvo Tipper HGV.

The driver of the Fiat, a male aged in his sixties, sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.

No arrests has been made in connection with this incident.

Investigating officer PC Tim Cameron, of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident whereby a driver has sustained serious injuries due to the collision.

“I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward, particularly to anyone with dash-cam footage that may assist with our investigation.

“I would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding while the A34 was closed and we conducted our extensive enquiries at the scene.”
