Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Witney.
Between 2pm and 2.30pm on Wednesday 9 October, the victim, an 11-year-old boy, was assaulted by two offenders on The Leys.
The offenders are described as two white boys, aged at around 11-years-old in school uniform. Both boys had short hair, one had blonde/brown hair and the other had dark coloured hair.
The victim sustained red marks and bruises to his face and body. He did not require hospital treatment.
Investigating officer PC Liam Coventry said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this assault to please come forward.
“We are specifically looking to identify two members of the public who assisted the victim following the assault as they may have important witness information.
“Anyone with information or footage relating to the assault should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43240487768.
“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
