The family of Eve Thornton have released a tribute to her after she died following a road traffic collision on Spring Road, Abingdon on Thursday (14/8).
“Eve sadly left us suddenly on Saturday morning. Her passing has left a huge hole in our hearts but we are grateful for all the wonderful memories we have of her.
“Eve was the most thoughtful and generous person—you could always count on her to make time for others and put everyone else before herself.
“Adventurous and brave, Eve was always open to new experiences. She was a keen cyclist who loved jazz, nature, literature, cake and wine as well as having many other interests.
“She was so caring and kind and will be forever loved and missed. Eve had a wonderful life and we are honoured to have been part of it.”
As the family navigates this difficult time, we ask that their privacy be respected.
