Thames Valley Police is appealing for help to find a man who has absconded from HMP Springhill near Grendon Underwood.
At around 7pm on Saturday (29/11), Arthur Salmon failed to return to HMP Springhill. He no longer has any authority or lawful licence to be in the community and is therefore considered unlawfully at large.
Salmon is 54-years-old and is a white man, around 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build and has black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of a crow on his torso and was last seen wearing a black hooded top.
He is known to frequent St. Albans, and he may be travelling in a grey Seat Ibiza Chill.
Police staff investigator Evelina Kersyte said: “We are appealing for the help of the public to trace Arthur Salmon, who is unlawfully at large after not returning to HMP Springhill.
“If you see Salmon, do not approach him and call 999 instead.
“If you have any information as to where Salmon may be, please call 101 or make a report online, quoting reference number 43250609126.”
