Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a dangerous dog incident in Thatcham.
Between 9.45pm and 10.15pm on Monday (17/2), a man was attacked by a dog, which is believed to be a Rottweiler, on the A4 Bath Road between Crickets Pub and Sainsbury’s Local.
The victim, who is in his forties, sustained injuries to his face, leg and finger. He required hospital treatment and remains there at this time.
Investigating officer PC Ethan Nowicki, based at Newbury Police Station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this dog attack to please get in contact with us.
“I am also appealing to anyone who may have been driving in the area at this time and caught dash-cam footage of the incident.
“If you have any information, please call 101 or make an online report, via our website, quoting 43250081334.”
