Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop road traffic collision in Tilehurst, Reading.
At approximately 6.45pm yesterday (21/1), a dark coloured vehicle has been involved in the collision with a pedestrian crossing the road at the designated zebra crossing at the junction of Waverley Road and Tilehurst Road.
The victim, a man aged in his thirties, suffered injuries to his shoulder and remains in hospital for treatment.
Investigating officer PC Benjamin Taylor, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this collision to please contact the force.
“I would be particularly keen to hear from anybody who may have dash-cam footage of the incident which could help us to identify the vehicle that failed to stop to please provide this to us.
“You can upload any footage to the dedicated portal for this investigation.
“I would also urge the driver of the vehicle which did not stop to get in touch with us.
“You can report information online or by calling us on 101, quoting reference 43250033725.”
