Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision, which occurred on Monday evening on the A361 between Lechlade and Burford.
At approximately 7.30pm, two vehicles, a white Vauxhall Corsa and a white Renault Austral with a black roof, were involved in a head-on collision near to Little Faringdon.
The female driver of the Corsa sustained serious, potentially life-changing injuries and was taken to hospital, where she remains in a stable condition.
The A361 was closed for several hours overnight while investigations commenced.
Investigating officer PC Harry Welch of the Joint Operations Road Policing Unit, said: “This collision has occurred in the early evening on the A361.
“I am appealing to anybody who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage that has captured it, or the moments leading up to it, to please contact Thames Valley Police.
“You can do so by making a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43250031677.”
