Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in Bracknell.
At around 11pm on Tuesday (14/1), three men entered a property in Deepdale and attacked a man, who had been asleep, with a bat. They then fled the property.
The victim, who is in his fifties, sustained injuries, requiring hospital treatment. He has since been discharged.
Investigating officer DC Paul Roche said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has doorbell or dash-cam footage of it to please get in touch.
“At this stage, we believe this to be an isolated incident and there was an increased police presence at the scene over the weekend.
“If you have information, that could assist our investigation, please call 101 or make an online report, quoting 43250021910.”
