Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a violent disorder in High Wycombe.
At approximately 6pm yesterday (29/1), a violent disorder broke out between several people in Frogmoor.
Two men were taken to hospital following this incident. One remains there at this time.
Six males between the ages of 16 and 18 have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
Five of them remain in police custody at this time, and one is still in hospital in a stable condition.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Bradley Haynes, based at Amersham police station, said: “We are continuing to investigate this as a priority.
“I understand this incident may cause concern to those in the local community, but I would like to reassure those that this was an isolated incident with no threat to the wider public.
“We are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, dash-cam or doorbell footage to please come forward.
“If you have information, you should call 101 or report online, quoting reference 43250047939.”
Superintendent Euan Livingstone, said: “I understand this incident will come as a shock to those who witnessed the violence last night and for those who live and work within High Wycombe.
“It is important to note that our investigation does not show a wider risk to members of the public. Officers arrived quickly and made six arrests, preventing further disorder. We will continue to work with our partners and the community as we remain committed to ending serious violence.”
