Thames Valley Police is providing an update in connection with an assault investigation in Oxford.
The incident occurred on Saturday 21 December on Banbury Road, Summertown, outside of BBC Oxford at around 11.20pm.
The victim, a woman in her sixties was head-butted by a man and required hospital treatment for her injuries.
She has since been discharged from hospital.
On Monday (20/1) we released a CCTV image of man who officers thought may have vital information.
This man has now been identified, so we no longer need to appeal for information and would ask that the media and public remove the image from any websites and social media channels please.
