Thames Valley Police has launched a murder investigation after a woman who was located in a serious condition in the Upton Lea area of Slough on Friday 14 February, sadly passed away in hospital on Saturday (1/3).
Officers were called to Rochford Gardens at just before 3pm on 14 February, and located a woman in a life-threatening condition.
Brigitta Rasuli, who was 53-years-old, was taken to hospital, but tragically, she died on Saturday evening.
A 57-year-old man, Samir Rasuli, has previously been charged with attempted murder and was remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on 17 March.
Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Laura Corscadden of the Major Crime Unit said: “My thoughts are with the victim’s family at this extremely difficult time. They are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers, and I would ask, on behalf of the family, that their privacy is respected.”
