Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop collision in Wantage.
Between 6.35pm and 6.45pm on Thursday (6/3), a 13-year-old boy was riding on his pedal cycle on Harcourt Road in the town when a vehicle has collided into the back of him, causing him to fall from his bike to the floor.
The driver of the vehicle did not remain at the scene.
The boy sustained minor injuries, and did not require hospital treatment.
The vehicle involved in the collision is described as a black vehicle, possibly a BMW or Audi.
Investigating officer PC Naomi Padgett of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “Thankfully, the boy was not seriously injured in this incident, but I am keen to identify the driver of the vehicle, who did not stop after the collision.
“I would urge this driver to please come forward and contact us on 101, using reference number 43250111741.
“I would also ask anybody who witnessed this collision, or who may have dash-cam footage that has captured the incident to please get in touch.
“You can also report online via our website or anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
