Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help in tracing a wanted man from Oxford.
Ashley Foster, aged 35, is wanted in connection with an assault with injury in Hurst Street where the victim was threatened with a weapon.
The victim, a man in his forties sustained a minor injury cut to his finger.
Ashley Foster is a white man, of slim build with short brown hair.
He is known to frequent Oxford City, Cowley, Marston, Cowley Road and Reading.
Investigating officer PC Megan Woodland said: “Enquiries have been ongoing to locate Ashley Foster but we are now appealing for the public’s help.
“If you know where he is or may have seen him, call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43250647265 .
“If you see him, do not approach him and call 999 instead.
“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
