Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been sentenced for possession with intent to supply class A drugs in Thatcham.
John Mckinnon (pictured below), aged 28, of The Broadway, Thatcham, pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to supply a class A drug on 25 March of this year at Reading Crown Court.

At the same the same court on Friday (3/7), Mckinnon was sentenced to two years and four months’ imprisonment.
At around 7.25pm on 24 March of this year, officers witnessed a drug deal take place at Mckinnon’s address.
Proactively, officers attended the address and forced entry to arrest Mckinnon.
Mckinnon attempted to jump out of the skylight of the property before jumping across the roofs, landing in the neighbouring pub garden.
Officers arrested Mckinnon inside the pub, and upon searches seized over 10g of cocaine that was located in the garden where he landed.
Mckinnon was then charged the following day.
Investigating officer PC Thomas Goold of the Newbury Neighbourhood Disruption Team said: “Mckinnon was involved in the supply of class A drugs in our communities, bringing harmful substances into Thatcham.
“The supply of drugs such as cocaine causes significant harm to individuals, families and the wider community, and Thames Valley Police is committed to disrupting those involved in this criminality.
“Thanks to the proactive work of officers, drugs were recovered before they could be sold on our streets, and Mckinnon has now been brought before the courts and sentenced for his actions.
“We will continue to target those involved in the supply of illegal drugs and encourage anyone with information about drug-related activity in their area to report it to Thames Valley Police.”
