Appeal for witnesses following a serious injury collision – Winslow, Bucks

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision in Winslow, Buckinghamshire.

Around 7.50am on Monday (1/6), a white and blue Renault heavy goods vehicle was involved in a collision with a white BMW R1300 motorcycle on Winslow Road, between Winslow and Little Horwood.

The motorcyclist, a man in his fifties, sustained serious life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital at this time.

There have been no arrests made.

 Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Ed Crofts, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family at this difficult time.

“We are carrying out a thorough investigation into the circumstances of this collision and would urge anyone who witnessed it, or who may have relevant footage, to come forward.”

If you saw either of these vehicles prior to the collision, have dash-cam footage or are a resident or business along Winslow Road who may have CCTV or doorcam footage, please come forward.
