Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a man has been charged with several driving offences in Banbury.
Brian Mclaren, aged 36, of Vincent Way, Banbury, was charged this morning (5/10) with:
- Cause death by dangerous driving
- Cause death by driving whilst disqualified
- Cause death by due care while over prescribed limit
- Driving whilst disqualified
- Drive motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit
The charges are in relation to a fatal RTC that occurred on Bloxham Road on Saturday (3/10) where an 18-year-old woman has since died.
Mclaren appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates Court today, where he has been remanded and will next appear in Oxford Crown Court on 6 November.
A 24-year-old man and 33-year-old woman who were also arrested in relation to this investigation have been released on police bail while our enquiries continue.
