Appeal after substance sprayed into home - Slough

Thames Valley Police would like to reassure the community that this was not an acid attack.

Police officers were called to a house in Skydmore Path, Britwell, at 5.19pm today after reports that an unknown substance was sprayed into the property by an unknown man. However, this substance was not acid.

The man who was wearing dark clothing sprayed the substance through a window and then fled the scene on foot.

Eight occupants felt nauseous and were taken to hospital by the South Central Ambulance Service as a precaution but have not sustained any serious injuries.

The Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended the scene.
