Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident of racially aggravated criminal damage in Broughton, Milton Keynes.

Between 12pm Sunday (25/2) and 12pm on Monday (26/2), a black permanent marker has been used to write offensive language on two graves in St Lawrence’s Church. A medal from a recent sports event has also been taken from one of the graves.

Investigating officer, PC Liam Farrow based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses and anyone with information following this upsetting incident of racially aggravated criminal damage to these two graves.

“I urge anyone who witnessed this incident or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area during these times to get in touch.
