Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a series of burglaries in the Bracknell and Wokingham area.
Officers are linking in excess of 25 incidents, in which offenders are stealing cash and jewellery.
These burglaries have taken place over the past month in Binfield, Bracknell, Finchampstead, Lower Earley, Winnersh and Wokingham.
Detective Inspector Mike Bettington, of the Investigation Hub at Loddon Valley police station said: “This series of burglaries is being investigated by a team of officers working closely with neighbourhood policing teams and crime scene investigators in order to identify those responsible.
“Additional police resources have been tasked to patrol specific areas at particular times of day in order to disrupt and deter those involved.
“Where offences have occurred, local neighbourhood officers and investigators are revisiting those areas in order to reassure the community, identify evidential opportunities and offer crime prevention advice.”
Police officers are asking the public to be especially vigilant in residential areas in the afternoon and evening times, and are giving crime prevention advice to the public.
Det Insp Bettington said: “I ask all residents in our community to ensure their homes are locked and secured properly, and that people do not hold large sums of cash at home.
“People should keep valuables hidden, locked away and not on display.
“If residents do see any persons or vehicles acting suspiciously, I ask them to take note of any description and report it immediately to Thames Valley Police on 101, or 999 if it’s an emergency.”
