Appeal for witnesses following assault- Bracknell

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Crowthorne Road, Bracknell.

Between 7.30pm and 7.50pm on Sunday (11/02) a teenage boy was walking on Crowthorne Road in Bracknell.

The teenage boy was approached by a group of teenagers who he did not know.

One of the group has grabbed him in a headlock and punched him repeatedly in the head and then thrown him in the road.

The offender is described as a white male in his late teens, of muscular build, around 6ft tall, wearing a bright yellow or orange hood coat with diagonal reflective stripes on it, with the hood up.

The victim attended hospital with bruising and soft tissue damage.

Investigating officer, PC Adam Young based at Bracknell police station, said: “We are appealing for witnesses following this unprovoked and cowardly attack.

“This happened in the early evening last Sunday (11/02) on a main road, not far from Mcdonald’s which was very busy at the time.

“We would ask anyone who witnessed the assault, who might recognise the offender from the description to please get in touch.

“We would ask anyone with information to call 101 quoting reference 43180045296.”
