Amended-Appeal for witnesses following burglary – Wycombe
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a burglary of a business in High Wycombe
At around 2.30am on Sunday (15/4) a man forced entry to the Coral Racing shop in Mill End Road. After setting off the burglar alarm the man left in the direction of Dashwood Avenue. Nothing was stolen during the incident.
The offender is described as a stocky white man. He was wearing a blue denim jacket over a dark green jumper, dark trousers and a black balaclava. He was carrying an axe.
Investigating officer PC Leigh Andrews, based at High Wycombe police station, said “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any dash cam footage from the area at around 2.30am on Sunday. The noise of the burglar alarm would have drawn attention to the shop and it is fortunate this man was deterred so quickly.”
