Appeal for witnesses following fatal collision – Iver

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision which occurred between Langley and Iver.

The incident took place on the B470 Langley Park Road yesterday, near the junction with Lossie Drive, at about 2.10pm.

A blue Yamaha MT-07 motorcycle was in collision with a pedestrian.

Sadly the pedestrian, a 46-year-old woman, died at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 20-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Investigating officer, PC Katy Kent, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We are carrying out an investigation into this incident, and I would like to speak to anyone who saw either the motorcycle or the pedestrian involved prior to the collision.
