Appeal for witnesses following GBH incident – High Wycombe

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a GBH incident which occurred in High Wycombe.

The incident took place at about 1.20am today (13/8) in an alleyway leading from Micklefield Road to Hawthorne Road.

The victim, a 23-year old man, was stabbed in the cheek by an offender and sustained an injury.

He was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.

The offender is a black male who was wearing dark clothing.

Investigating officer Detective Constable David Mitchell of High Wycombe Force CID, said: “We are carrying out a full investigation into this incident.

“I would like to reassure the public that we believe that this was a targeted attack, and that we have made an arrest in connection with the incident.

“If anyone witnessed this offence, or has any information relating to it, they should call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101.”

A 15-year-old boy from Downley has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause GBH. He has been released under investigation.
