Appeal for witnesses following robbery – High Wycombe

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery which took place in High Wycombe.

The incident occurred near the BP petrol station in West Wycombe Road at about 10.10am on Wednesday (9/8).

The victim, a 57-year-old man, was walking along the road towards the petrol station when he was approached by two men.

They pushed him to the ground and stole two shopping bags from him.

The victim was not injured in the incident.

One of the offenders is a white man, and the other is an Asian man with dreadlocks. Both were aged in their 40s.

Investigating officer PC Mark Palethorpe, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has any information relating to it.

“If you have any details which you think could help our investigation, please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101.”
