Appeal for witnesses following serious injury collision - Stokenchurch

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision in Stokenchurch on Sunday (10/9).

At around 11.55am, a black and red Triumph motorcycle was in collision with a grey Vauxhall Zafira on the A40 Oxford Road, between junction 5 of the M40 and Aston Hill.

The Triumph had been travelling from Aston Hill towards junction 5, whilst the Zafira was travelling in the opposite direction. 

The motorcyclist, a 50-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the JR2 hospital by ambulance. He remains in hospital in a stable condition.

The occupants of the Zafira were not injured.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who either witnessed the collision or either vehicle prior to it, or anyone who may have any dashcam footage of the collision.
