Our Protect Your World campaign aims to encourage Thames Valley residents and businesses to protect themselves online.
Thames Valley Police is helping residents stay one step ahead of cyber criminals by producing top cyber security steps everyone needs to take.
It not only explains the risks of cyber crime, but also what steps you should be taking to stay safe and how you can complete them.
If you fall victim to cyber crime, or experience an attempted scam, report it to Action Fraud online or by calling 0300 123 2040.
If you have been a victim of a cybercrime and you are struggling to cope, you can call Victims First (0300 1234 148). Victims First is dedicated to making sure that all victims receive the support they need to cope and recover from the impact of the crime. It is available across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire and can provide help regardless of whether or not the crime has been reported to the police.
