With large numbers of local, national and international visitors expected to visit Windsor throughout the period of national mourning, Thames Valley Police is working closely with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead to minimise disruption to the local community. Together, we will be listening and responding to concerns or issues raised by local residents and business owners.
You will see an increased number of police officers and more extensive security measures in and around the town. Whilst the police operation surrounding the period of national mourning in Windsor will be significant, local policing will not be overlooked. Our response to day to day policing will not be compromised during this time.
By working together, we can help keep all those in and around Windsor safe. You support our eyes and ears on the ground so if you see or hear anything unusual or suspicious, please report it to a police officer or a community warden.
You can follow updates from the local neighbourhood team on Twitter and Facebook.
