Information about booking an appointment to have your fingerprints taken.
The Fingerprint Bureau takes fingerprints of members of the public who are currently residing in the UK, and who require police clearance or good conduct certificates from abroad.
We do not have any authority to take prints for passports or renewals of passports. If you need fingerprints for a passport, you should contact your embassy who will arrange this for you.
If you require a UK police clearance check, please contact the Disclosure and Barring Service.
