Your Local Neighbourhood Policing Team
Every neighbourhood in the Thames Valley area has a dedicated neighbourhood policing team that works together with the local community and partners to: reduce crime and incidents, bring more offenders to justice, protect the vulnerable and tackle violence against women and girls and improve victim service and public confidence.
Neighbourhood policing teams are led by senior police officers and include police officers, Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), police staff, police support volunteers and the Special Constabulary.
They aim to make communities safer through an approach that is focussed on visibility, engagement, problem solving and community resilience.

ASB involving youths gathering and creating noise late at night around Flame and Tesco's in Sunninghill, the Queens Road Car Park, South Ascot woods behind play area and Victory Field
Action taken:
The Neighbourhood team have been targeting their patrols in these areas and will continue to work with the local shops to make it harder for this to happen, both during our early and later shifts
Recently we identified an area of wooded land in south Ascot behind the recently refurbished play area, where youths were gathering and causing some anti social behaviour. The Sunninghill Trust quickly actioned a clear up of the area and along with regular patrols have managed to move this group away from the area. We have been running regular foot patrols around Victory Field and Tom Greens Field at varying times of the day to deter and disrupt and ASB, -
Priority:
Residents reporting increase in crime and ASB in the area such as pulling fences out of grounds, breaking windows and shouting abusive comments.
Action taken:
Ascot Neighbourhood team are having meetings with management of a children's care home in the area to help reduce the Anti social behaviour.
Arrests have been made and investigations are in place in relation to reports residents have contacted the police about.
The care home are inviting local residents for 3 weekly meetings.
The Neighbourhood team will be completing high visibility patrols in the area. -

Drug usage and dealing in areas such as Broomhall Rec, Sunninghill and Sunningdale Car Parks, Carrol Crescent, Allens Field, Liddell way and South Ascot woods off Victoria Road
Action taken:
The Ascot Neighbourhood Team conducts daily patrols at varying times to maintain a strong, high‑visibility presence in targeted areas. Over a number of later shifts over the last few months we have conducted some disruption operations in Broomhall Rec and the paths alongside railway track and Dry Arch Road. Allens Field and Liddell way have been subject to some of our targeted patrols and we will continue to challenge and move along any suspects that we come across.
