Speeding - In response, the Bracknell South Neighbourhood Policing Team will be working to address this issue through targeted speed enforcement and increased patrols in known speeding hotspots. The team remains committed to improving road safety and responding to the concerns of the community.

The Bracknell South Neighbourhood Policing Team will be implementing the following measures:
-Targeted Speed Enforcement - high visibility operations utilising the handheld speed gun device. This will take place in known speeding hotspots, helping to promote safe driving.
Officers have been conducting speed enforcement at various locations across the borough.

Illegal use of E-Scooters and Electric Bikes - including illegally modified bicycles and electric motorbikes (this is not to be confused with Electric Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) which are legal). We have increased enforcement activity, including targeted operations and vehicle seizures. Officers are also working with schools, parents and local businesses to raise awareness about the legal restrictions surrounding these vehicles. These efforts aim to reduce anti-social behaviour, improve public safety, and ensure that residents feel safer in their communities

To tackle the issue of illegal E-scooters and E-bikes. The Bracknell South Neighbourhood team are taking a multi-pronged approach:
-Vehicle Seizures - Officers are actively seizing illegal e-scooters and modified e-bikes being used on public roads.
-Targeted Enforcement - Police are responding to public complaints about reckless riding and excessive speeds by conducting patrols and enforcement operations in hotspot areas.
-Education Campaigns - Neighbourhood officers are working with schools, parents and local businesses to raise awareness about the legal restrictions on e-scooter and e-bike use. These efforts aim to prevent illegal use and inform potential buyers about the risks and regulations.
Officers have conducted operations to tackle illegal E-Bikes and E-Scooters. As a result, we seized numerous E-Scooters and and Illegal E-Bike.
We will continue to conduct these operations during the coming months.

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and Drugs - In response, local policing teams will be prioritising efforts to tackle ASB/Drugs in the area, working closely with the community, council and partner agencies, to improve safety and wellbeing.

-High-visibility patrols during peak evening hours to deter ASB and drug-related activity.
-Engage with individuals suspected of causing issues.
-Stop and search operations where appropriate, based on intelligence and observed behaviour.
-Plain clothes patrols and officers on bicycles to increase coverage and gather intelligence discreetly.
These efforts will be part of an ongoing strategy to reduce anti-social behaviour and drug-related crime, with continued community engagement and intelligence gathering at the heart of the approach.
