The Sergeant is next in command and also assists the Inspector. In addition they provide leadership in the development and supervision of the Constables and PCSOs. They too work with the community and other agencies to ensure that the concerns of the community are dealt with by the Neighbourhood Team.
Police Constables work alongside the community and partner agencies to tackle crime and issues identified by the local community. They work together with PCSOs to be a visible presence in the local area and build trust and confidence by developing a detailed understanding of the community.
This officer is a Police Community Support Officer. While having no power of arrest, the officer can attend incidents, patrol and reassure, tackle ASB and parking issues, and in Thames Valley will be deployed to deliver our Crime Attendance policy of attending to provide follow up support and contact. They too are also responsible for tackling the concerns of the community.

ASB - Twist Way

Police received multiple reports of youths causing ASB around the Twist Way area in the Britwell Estate. PCSOs are now regularly engaging with the local youths and their parents to prevent these issues. Have Your Say meetings are also being arranged with the youth club and the Co-Op to engage with local agencies.

Youth Violence

Recent reports of youth violence in the area have raised concerns regarding public safety and the potential escalation of antisocial behaviour. In response, officers are conducting regular patrols and working closely with partner agencies to identify and apprehend offenders, while also implementing measures to improve the local environment and enhance community reassurance.

ASB - E-Scooters/E-Bikes in communal grass areas e.g. Parks

As this continues to be a recurring issue within the local community, targeted enforcement activity is being undertaken to remove offending vehicles from the roads and educate riders on the legislation and responsibilities applicable to them. Further planned operations are also being developed to address the issue, improve compliance, and enhance community safety.
