The Neighbourhood Inspector has overall responsibility for the entire neighbourhood policing team of Sergeants, Police Constables, PCSOs and police staff. They are responsible for delivering on neighbourhood policing strategies, directing the deployment of the team and developing relationships with partners and key stakeholders to enable the neighbourhood policing team to work effectively
This officer is a Constable and takes direction from the Sergeant and they work with the community and other agencies. They are also responsible for tackling those issues as identified by the local community.

They play an integral part in delivering effective neighbourhood policing, providing a highly visible policing presence and building relationships with the local community as well as working to problem solve long-term neighbourhood issues.

Through the resident surveys and recent police incidents, concerns have been raised over Burglary, including vehicles stolen.

02/03/2026: The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead has restricted the operational floors of the Stafferton Way car park to the ground level only. Patrols will continue in the vicinity, and this measure has contributed to a reduction in reported incidents.

19/12/25: The housing authority have applied to the court to take re-possession of a property in BRUNEL CLOSE linked to ASB.
02/02/2026: Closure order checks confirm closure in place and there have been no breaches.

We are continuing to work in close relationships and conducting 'Have your Say meetings' at this location

School patrols will be conducted during pick up/drop off times at Haddon Road and Lowbrook Drive due to speeding concerns from residents.

11/11/25: Proactive patrols have begun in this area following the resident survey.
18/12/25: Officers are building an application for a Partial Closure Order for a property in Alpine Close. Evidence gathering has begun to support this.
02/02/2026: Patrols continue in this area.
