The Community has expressed concerns around drug dealing and anti-social use of vehicles in the Hungerford High Street and surrounding areas.
Local residents have raised concerns regarding drugs dealing and the issues that surround the activities. The team are actively monitoring the situation and will continue to conduct targeted patrols and enforcement activity to address the issue.

The neighbourhood team are continuing to patrol the area, both visibly and covert. Officers have also been actively disrupting criminal behaviour and targeting known individuals causing ASB through drug and vehicle use.
There have been only a few reports of issues lately and ask for the community to continue to report issues if they see them.
We are continuing to educate drivers and enforce powers if there are offences committed.

Due to the season, there has been a noticeable increase in fish Poaching on the River Kennet, especially in Upper Eddington, Lower Denford and the War Memorial in Hungerford. The poaching is being carried out by individuals who do not have a fishing licence or a permit to fish on the river.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team are actively patrolling areas affected. We have been out on foot walking in some of the affected areas to tackle the issue and provide reassurance.
There have not been many reports so far this year which is promising. We are continuing to patrol the waterways.

There has been an increase in concern around drug related anti-social behaviour in the Lambourn area, particularly in the area of Market Place and the Church Yard. - Residents have raised concern that there has been an increase in anti social behaviour which is being fuelled by people using drugs in the area.

This Priority has been added to the Patrol Plan and the Neighbourhood team have been proactively patrolling at different times of the day as well as dealing robustly when encountering ASB in the area.
Since the nicer weather we have had fewer reports of issues. Officers continue to patrol in vehicles and on foot and engage with members of the public as well as potential ASB offenders.
We continue to ask for the publics help in reporting these issues to us.
