  • Priority:

Drug use and Anti- Social Behaviour in Howarth Court, Greenham

    Issued 31 July 2026

    Action taken:

Officers have conducted frequent high-visibility patrols within the area, particularly during identified peak times, to deter offending, provide reassurance to residents and gather intelligence regarding those involved. Where lawful grounds have existed, officers have utilised stop and search powers to disrupt suspected criminal activity and identify those involved in drug-related offending.
Positive action has also been taken to address properties linked to ongoing issues, with two Partial Closure Orders approved and currently in force, restricting access and helping to reduce anti-social behaviour and associated criminality. Officers continue to work closely with the local housing association to address resident concerns, share information where appropriate, and develop longer-term problem-solving measures.

  • Priority:

Anti-Social Behaviour involving youths along Gaywood Drive

    Issued 31 July 2026

    Action taken:

Officers have conducted increased high-visibility patrols during identified peak times and locations to provide reassurance to residents and deter further incidents. A Have Your Say event was held within the area, giving members of the community the opportunity to speak directly with local officers, discuss concerns and provide information to support ongoing problem-solving activity.
Officers have also engaged with local residents and partner agencies, including discussions with the local community centre to explore opportunities for joint working and the development of positive interventions aimed at addressing youth-related anti-social behaviour. These collaborative efforts will continue alongside targeted patrol activity to identify solutions and improve the quality of life for those living in the area.

  • Priority:

Theft of Pedal Bikes around Boundary Road

    Issued 31 July 2026

    Action taken:

Officers have conducted targeted high-visibility and plain-clothes patrols at identified hotspot locations and during peak offending times. As a result of enquiries into a number of reported offences, suspects have been identified and charged in connection with some of the cycle thefts reported in the area.
Officers continue to engage with residents, local businesses and cycle owners to provide crime prevention advice and gather community intelligence. A Have Your Say event will be held to allow members of the public to speak directly with officers about local concerns, receive tailored crime prevention advice and discuss steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of cycle theft. Cycle registration schemes will also be promoted at the event to encourage owners to mark and register their bicycles, helping to deter theft and assist with the identification and recovery of stolen property.
