We have seen a reduction in the number of reports being received in recent weeks, which is a positive sign. Officers will continue to monitor the situation through regular high-visibility patrols and engagement with the local community to identify whether any ongoing issues remain.

Drugs use and dealing around Brummel Road

Officers have continued regular targeted patrols in the area and recently held a Have Your Say event, where residents provided information about local concerns that will help direct future activity. A number of stop and account encounters have also been conducted, and patrols will continue at key times and locations. Where officers have the necessary legal grounds, stop searches will be carried out to help identify and disrupt those involved in criminality and anti-social behaviour.

Reports of issues in the area have decreased in recent weeks, which is encouraging. Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team have continued to carry out regular high-visibility patrols to provide reassurance, deter offending and monitor activity. Patrols will remain in place, particularly during busier periods, and officers will continue to engage with residents and take appropriate action where necessary to help keep the area safe.
