The Neighbourhood Inspector has overall responsibility for the entire neighbourhood policing team of Sergeants, Police Constable, PCSO's and police staff. They are responsible for delivering on neighbourhood policing strategies, directing the deployment of the team and developing relationships with partners and key stakeholder to enable the neighbourhood policing team to work effectively.

Police Constables work alongside the community and partner agencies to tackle crime and issues identified by the local community. They work together with PCSO's to be a visible presence in the local area and build trust and confidence by developing a detailed understanding of the community.
Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) are the face of the police within local communities. They play an integral part in delivering effective neighbourhood policing, providing a highly visible policing presence and building relationships with the local community as well as working to problem solve long-term neighbourhood issues.

RBC have reported concerns over drug dealing and use coming from an address on Hadrains Walk, which appears to come from an address that appears to be subject to cuckooing

The team have applied for had granted a Partial Closure Order for an address on Newcastle Road after working closely with RBC, who had provided invaluable intelligence that allowed this to be granted. We are now working with the tenant in relation to his housing needs and supporting RBC in the tenant moving from the area

TVP and RBC staff have carried out a number of door to door enquiries and have identified two address’s that are at risk of cuckooing. At this time we are working together to obtain a Partial Closure Order and working with other Police units to tackle this issue, which will include an increase in Police presence in this area

Following the recent Safer Neighbourhood Meeting, Farmers Close has been identified as being busy with drug dealing and Cannabis use, more so in the car parks that face out towards the park

The team have increased their presence in the area and have completed a number of stop and accounts, which at this time have shown a significant decease in the activities that had been reported. We will continue to engage with SNF members in the area who have bought this to our attention
