  • Our priorities
  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Speeding remains a priority in the August 2026 community survey. Areas of concern are North Marston, Whitchurch, Newton Longville and Winslow as highlighted by the community and local council.

    Issued 08 September 2026

    Action taken:

The local neighbourhood policing team is continuing its work to improve community safety by addressing speeding concerns across the area. Locations raised by residents include Winslow, North Marston, Whitchurch and Newton Longville.
Several Community Speed Watch groups are active locally, and we encourage any residents with concerns about speeding to get involved.
Sept Update: local speed watch groups and PCSO's to conduct further speed surveys over the next 2/3 months and establish high target areas for enforcement days. Speed enforcement was conducted on 3/8 in North Marston and Swanbourne.
.This priority will be reviewed quarterly in line with survey feedback, with monthly reviews of progress and actions taken.
If you have any information, please call 101 or report online at www.thamesvalley.police.uk.
Always dial 999 if a crime is in progress or if you are at immediate risk of harm.

    Actioned 08 September 2026

  • Priority:

Anti-Social Behaviour remains a priority in the August 2026 Community Survey. Areas of concern are the Winslow Park Areas – Football Ground and Bowls Club.

    Issued 08 September 2026

    Action taken:

The Winslow Neighbourhood Team have been regularly patrolling the green spaces around Elmsfield Gate throughout the winter months. During these patrols we have seen fewer people out and about, likely due to the colder weather. As darker nights draw in we may start to see night time ASB.
We continue to liaise with the council regarding the installation of a CCTV camera in the town centre. Update: Due to the layout of the town centre, a temporary camera cannot be installed at this time.
We still receive reports of inconsiderate parking at school drop‑off and pick‑up times across multiple locations. This continues to be an issue affecting most schools. While the team will investigate any associated criminal offences (including public order incidents), general parking concerns should be directed to Buckinghamshire Council unless the situation presents a danger.
PCSOs will continue to hold regular Have Your Say events at the following locations:
    North Marston Shop
    Winslow Library
    Newton Longville Coffee shop
    Mursley Farm Shop
All details of these and other events can be found on the events tab of this page.
Sept update: 27% decrease in reported cases in August 2026.
This priority will continue to be reviewed quarterly in line with survey results, with actions assessed on the 30th of each month and adapted where necessary. Outcomes will be shared in future updates.
If you have any information, please call 101 or report online at www.thamesvalley.police.uk.
Call 999 in an emergency, if a crime is in progress, or if you are at risk of harm.

    Actioned 08 September 2026

  • Priority:

Drug and drug related crime has been voted as a new priority in the August 2026 community survey.

    Issued 08 September 2026

    Action taken:

The Winslow neighbourhood team are working closely with residents and local authority to identify offenders. We will conduct hi visibility patrols and stop and search where needed. We will proactively deter drug related activity from our streets and where needed use powers to obtain closer orders through the courts of any residential properties causing issues.
Sept update: 2 possession of drugs recorded in month of August.
If you have any information please report on 101 or online at www.thamesvalley.police.uk.
Call 999 if crime in progress or if you are at risk of harm.

    Actioned 08 September 2026
