Several Community Speed Watch groups are active locally, and we encourage any residents with concerns about speeding to get involved.
April update: in march 26 speed monitoring surveys were conducted in Portway, North Marston, and further surveys to be completed during April/May to establish high target areas for enforcement days.

  • Priority:

Anti-Social Behaviour was again voted as a priority in the May 2026 Community Survey. Areas of concern are the Winslow Park Areas – Football Ground and Bowls Club.

    Issued 10 June 2026

    Action taken:

The Winslow Neighbourhood Team have been regularly patrolling the green spaces around Elmsfield Gate throughout the winter months. During these patrols we have seen fewer people out and about, likely due to the colder weather, however footfall is likely to increase with the warmer weather and we will adjust our patrols accordingly. As the weather improves over the coming months, we anticipate a potential rise in anti‑social behaviour (ASB) and will continue targeted patrols in these areas.
We continue to liaise with the council regarding the installation of a CCTV camera in the town centre. Update: Due to the layout of the town centre, a temporary camera cannot be installed at this time.
We still receive reports of inconsiderate parking at school drop‑off and pick‑up times across multiple locations. This continues to be an issue affecting most schools. While the team will investigate any associated criminal offences (including public order incidents), general parking concerns should be directed to Buckinghamshire Council unless the situation presents a danger.
May update: 2 recorded incidents of ASB in April, an increase on previous month.
June update: 2 recorded cases of ASB in May 2026, no change on previous month.
PCSOs will continue to hold regular Have Your Say events at the following locations:
    North Marston Shop
    Winslow Library
    Newton Longville Coffee shop
    Mursley Farm Shop
All details of these and other events can be found on the events tab of this page.
This priority will continue to be reviewed quarterly in line with survey results, with actions assessed on the 30th of each month and adapted where necessary. Outcomes will be shared in future updates.
If you have any information, please call 101 or report online at www.thamesvalley.police.uk.
Call 999 in an emergency, if a crime is in progress, or if you are at risk of harm.

This new priority will be reviewed quarterly in line with community survey results and actions will be reviewed 30th monthly to monitor progress.
