*Drugs*
The Wycombe East team have been dealing with drug offences and linked anti-social behaviour in residential areas such as Hampden Way, Micklefield Road, Underwood road and Lingfield
Issued 01 September 2026
Tackling drug-related activity and protecting vulnerable members of the community remains a priority for the team. Throughout the month, officers have carried out a number of closure order compliance checks at addresses suspected of being involved in drug dealing or where criminal activity was placing vulnerable individuals at risk. As a result of the closure order over 4 people have been arrested and are being investigated, of which two have been sentenced for a total of 7 years in prison for Drug dealing. The East team have continued with targeted patrols and have conducted high visibility foot patrols in known hotspot locations to deter offending and gather intelligence. Where lawful grounds existed, officers carried out stop and searches of both vehicles and individuals. This has helped to disrupt suspected drug activity and provide reassurance to local residents. These proactive measures continue to support efforts to reduce drug-related harm within the Wycombe East area.
We encourage anybody with information regarding drug offences to report this via 101 or on the TVP website, alternatively if you do not want to speak to police directly, please contact the anonymous reporting service CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111, or on their website crimestoppers-uk.org
