Drug activity within car parks, Wolfscote Lane, Emerson Valley and Furzton Lake

Your local Neighbourhood Team are aware of a slight increase in drug dealing and drug activity specifically around Parish council building car parks, Wolfscote Lane, Emerson Valley and Furzton Lake. Patrols will be carried out across the areas to deter this activity, to identify individuals involved and take appropriate action. We are pleased to report we have seen a decrease in reported crime.

Antisocial behaviour including use of privately owned e-scooters in a public place as well as hired e-scooters being ridden in a dangerous manner within Tattenhoe and Shenley Brook End.

Your NHPT team are aware of e-scooters being used illegally or in a dangerous manner on footpaths across the estates. NHPT will continue to carry out high visibility patrols and engage with individuals to educate them in the legal use of e-scooters for hire as well as the use of privately owned scooters. Road traffic legislation will be enforced where appropriate in relation to any traffic offences and will result in seized E-scooters. We encourage the local community to report any suspicious activity.

Theft offences within Westcroft retail park.

The NHPT are working closely with the management team of the Westcroft district centre to identify persistent offenders. We recognise the impact of retail theft and we seek to charge & remand any suspects found committing theft related offences. We will continue to work along side the district centre to minimise the financial impact to local stores and provide resources to target harden known offenders.
