  • Priority:

ASB in Rickly Park in evening and generally out in social areas of West Bletchley.
Reports have been made about street drinking on Buckingham Road.

    Issued 12 October 2026

    Action taken:

Our Neighbourhood Policing Team continues to focus on reducing crime and anti-social behaviour through regular hotspot patrols in locations identified as causing concern. Enforcement action has been taken against street drinkers and individuals using vehicles in a manner that negatively impacts the community.

By working in partnership with Milton Keynes City Council and increasing high-visibility foot patrols whenever possible, we have seen encouraging reductions in both crime and anti-social behaviour across the area. These positive results reflect the value of a joined-up approach to problem solving and community engagement.

We remain committed to sustaining this progress through continued proactive patrols and partnership working, helping to create a safer, more welcoming environment for all members of the community.

  • Priority:

SPEEDING - Concerns about speeding on RICKLY LANE and SHENLEY ROAD

    Issued 12 October 2026

    Action taken:

The local Neighbourhood Policing Team continues to carry out high-visibility patrols across all shifts, providing reassurance to the community and maintaining a visible presence in areas of concern. Through targeted patrols and joint operations with the Roads Policing Unit, officers have taken positive action against individuals committing driving offences, helping to improve road safety and deter dangerous or anti-social driving behaviour.

Our proactive approach is aimed not only at enforcing the law but also at reducing the risks posed to pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users. By identifying and addressing offending behaviour early, we are helping to make our roads safer for everyone who lives, works, and travels within the area.

We are also exploring opportunities to further enhance the skills and capabilities of our local policing team through additional training and specialist equipment. This investment will strengthen our ability to tackle road safety concerns effectively, support enforcement activity, and continue delivering a safer environment for local residents and all those using our road network

  • Priority:

    E-SCOOTERS
local Residents Association raised concerns on behalf of residents regarding the amount of underaged kids using e-scooters and the potential dangers these posed

    Issued 12 October 2026

    Action taken:

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving road safety and reducing anti-social behaviour, officers have been actively engaging with members of the public and taking robust enforcement action against the unlawful use of e-scooters. Where legislation is being breached, e-scooters are being seized where appropriate, helping to prevent further offending and protect the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users.

We continue to work closely with Milton Keynes City Council to address concerns relating to both privately owned and rental e-scooters. Through joint operations and targeted enforcement activity, Thames Valley Police and partner agencies have achieved significant success in tackling unlawful e-scooter use across the area, resulting in the seizure of a number of vehicles being used in contravention of the law.

This partnership approach combines education, engagement, and enforcement to promote responsible use of the transport network, improve public safety, and enhance community confidence. We will continue to monitor areas of concern and take positive action where necessary to ensure our roads and public spaces remain safe and accessible for everyone

    Actioned 12 October 2026
