Report of ASB in Merton Court. Involving youths swearing and riding on mobilty scooter in the area. Causing tension between residents.
Action taken:
We are in regular contact with the housing association and will continue to work with them on this ongoing ASB issue.
Mediation has been offered to involved parties.
We will continue to complete patrols in the area and respond to calls. Words of advice have been given to involved youths. If the behaviour continues, we will consider our powers and will issue S59 for driving anti-socially. -
Priority:
Reports of youths climbing the building and accessing the compound of the sports pavilion. There is a potential for injuries and damage to be caused. There is also reports that fires are being started at The skate park.
Action taken:
Increased regular patrols by our neighbourhood team. We will be patrolling the area and establishing any pattern of times and dates when incidents occur. We will engage with members of public to build our intelligence around this. We will stop and obtain details of any person believed to be involved. We are working closely with Eynsham Parish Council to solve this problem. The parish council are looking into options to make the area more secure and to prevent people from being able to climb the building.
The neighbourhood team have engaged with numerous youths in the area. It does appear the reports of fires have decreased. -

Reports of ASB and drugs being used in Gough Close, North Leigh. Loud music and multiple people at an address. Reports of drugs also being used. This is disturbing other residents who live in the area
Action taken:
We are working closely with the housing association who provide some properties in Gough Close and Breakspear way. Our neighbourhood team have recently obtained a Closure Order on an address which we will continue to monitor to ensure that the ASB has decreased.
Closure order checks are continuing to happen at an address to ensure no breaches are being committed.
