Street level drug dealing is occurring in the service areas adjacent to the now closed High Street car park with suggestion the suppliers are coming from Amber House
Action taken:
A drugs warrant was executed at a flat in Amber House to disrupt supply locally, we await to see what impact this has and continue to target the dealing on the street

Short term lets are available at The Grand Exchange and some are repeatedly being used as brothels. This causes associated anti-social behaviour in the form of late night noise poor behaviour from customers in the vicinity
Action taken:
We have obtained a closure order on the main flat and are checking it regularly for any breaches. We are alive to the fact the problem may have moved elsewhere in the town centre and will act again if that is the case

Under 18s accessing restricted areas and abusing staff and customers in restaurants particularly Princess Square and near to Union Square
Action taken:
Our Summer Safer Streets had limited impact due to resourcing pressures, however we do have further plans to focus patrols on Princess Square
