We completed a plain clothes operation with a focus on drug dealing in service yards and underpasses around the town centre. No such activity was detected but we will continue to take action at different times of the day/night/week

People are concerned about reports of people riding devices too fast, inside shops and recklessly around the town centre, specifically within The Lexicon and near Waitrose
Action taken:
We have incorporated targeting e-bikes and e-scooters into other operations and, during one last week, seized an e-scooter being ridden around The Lexicon. We plan on doing this as part of our wider ranging operations.

People report loud, inconsiderate, reckless driving around The Ring and Market Street
Action taken:
We are increasing the amount of speed gun trained staff on the team to run speed enforcement operations. We conducted patrols and intervened in offences around ignoring traffic signs, children not wearing seatbelts and construction and use offences.
