People are more concerned about drug dealing within the public realm. Specifically, in the underpasses at the west end of the High Street

We have successfully made representations so that the town centre hotspot patrols (completed by neighbourhood and response) focus on the service yards and underpasses and arrests have been made for supply and possession offences. Whilst we are under no illusion that this isn't still an issue we will likely move focus to Market Street for next quarter

People are concerned about reports of people riding devices too fast, inside shops and recklessly around the town centre, specifically within The Lexicon and near Waitrose

We have incorporated targeting e-bikes and e-scooters into other operations and have seized devices. We continue include such devices as targets in our regular patrol plans

People report loud, inconsiderate, reckless driving around The Ring and Market Street

We are increasing the amount of speed gun trained staff on the team to run speed enforcement operations. We conducted patrols and intervened in offences around ignoring traffic signs, children not wearing seatbelts and construction and use offences. We have also issued 2 S59 warnings for anti-social driving
