Anti-Social Behaviour on Moor Close, outside Co-Op on Yeovil Road where teenagers are stood around which members of the public are finding intimidating. ASB driving in The Meadows, Sandhurst.

Due to the warm weather, we have received reports of cars meeting in The Meadows car park in the evening.

Teenagers causing firing catapults in Snaprail Park.

    Issued 01 July 2026

    Action taken:

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) summary of activity by the NHPT team in August 2026:

To tackle anti-social behaviour, officers carried out numerous hotspot patrols at locations identified through community reports and local intelligence. Regular patrols were conducted around Moor Close, Sandhurst Recreation Ground, Sandhurst Memorial Park, Horseshoe Lake, The Meadows and the Yeovil Road Co-op. These patrols focused on reports of youth-related ASB, criminal damage, nuisance behaviour, car meet-ups and the use of off-road motorcycles and Sur-Ron style bikes in public spaces. Officers engaged with groups of young people, monitored known gathering areas and provided reassurance to residents and businesses. No significant ASB incidents were identified during many of the patrols, demonstrating the value of continued police visibility and early intervention. However a number of high powered Suron electric bikes have been seized by the NHPT that were plaguing Sandhurst Memorial Park and offenders identified which has reduced the amount of reports around this location.

A significant amount of officer activity focused on engagement with local businesses, particularly the Co-op on Yeovil Road, which had reported ongoing issues with shoplifting, youth disorder and associated ASB. Officers carried out repeated visits to speak with staff, review CCTV, obtain intelligence on prolific offenders and reassure employees that concerns were being acted upon. These visits strengthened relationships with local businesses and encouraged continued reporting of incidents. Similar engagement was undertaken with staff at Greggs, M&S and other community locations to identify emerging issues and maintain confidence in local policing.

Summary of activity carried out by Sandhurst & Crowthorne neighbourhood officers to tackle drugs in Sandhurst in August 2026:

Officers continued to work alongside partner agencies to identify and address locations associated with drug-related activity.

Addressing concerns around drugs, officers followed up reports of cannabis use and associated nuisance behaviour. Intelligence gathered through engagement with local businesses identified concerns regarding youths smoking cannabis near the Yeovil Road Co-op. Further action included a joint visit with a housing provider at Swan House, Goughs Meadow, where concerns regarding cannabis smoking were addressed, advice was provided and a formal warning issued. Officers also continued to gather intelligence to support future enforcement opportunities.

After a vehicle stop in Magdalena Road, Sandhurst by the NHPT two males were arrested for Class A supply drug offences who have been bailed while the investigation continues.

    Actioned 23 August 2026

  • Priority:

Speeding - Rackstraw Road and the area in front of The Meadows car park. Also reports of speeding along Yeovil Road, Sandhurst.

    Issued 01 July 2026

    Action taken:

Summary of activity carried out by Sandhurst & Crowthorne neighbourhood officers to tackle Speeding and Road-Related Concerns in Sandhurst in August 2026.

Speeding remained a key priority for residents, particularly on Marshall Road and Yeovil Road.

Targeted speed-monitoring patrols were conducted using marked police vehicles positioned at locations where concerns had been reported. Officers utilised highly visible patrol tactics, including displaying speed awareness messaging and conducting static observations from marked vehicles.

Further targeted speed-monitoring patrols were conducted by Neighbourhood officers joining forces with our friends on the Roads Policing Department at the location of Yeovil Road, following reports of speeding vehicles. No speeding offences recorded but tickets issued for seatbelt offences were recorded. Officer presence also helped reassure residents and reinforce safe driving behaviours.

Speed gun operations were also carried out on Yeovil Road within this month with no offences being recorded but community reassured by the activity carried out.

    Actioned 23 August 2026
