Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) summary of activity by the NHPT team in August 2026:
A significant amount of policing activity during August focused on tackling and preventing anti-social behaviour in identified hotspot locations across Sandhurst.
Regular patrols were conducted in Yeovil Road and Moor Close, both of which have been highlighted by residents as locations experiencing youth-related ASB. High-visibility patrols were undertaken during the evenings and weekends, with officers providing reassurance to local residents and monitoring for any emerging issues. No significant incidents of ASB were identified during these patrols, suggesting that continued police visibility is helping to deter offending and reassure the community.
Officers continue to engage with school-aged children outside local shops on Yeovil Road and within the community to help prevent ASB and shoplifting. Positive interactions with young people on Yeovil Road helped build relationships and promote positive perceptions of policing.
