Your Local Neighbourhood Policing Team
Every neighbourhood in the Thames Valley area has a dedicated neighbourhood policing team that works together with the local community and partners to: reduce crime and incidents, bring more offenders to justice, protect the vulnerable and tackle violence against women and girls and improve victim service and public confidence.
Neighbourhood policing teams are led by senior police officers and include police officers, Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), police staff, police support volunteers and the Special Constabulary.
They aim to make communities safer through an approach that is focussed on visibility, engagement, problem solving and community resilience.

We are aware of an increase in shoplifting offences affecting local businesses within the Retail park and supermarket .
Action taken:
The Neighbourhood Policing Team is working closely with retailers to identify offenders, carry out targeted patrols in hotspot locations, and take positive action to reduce retail crime and protect businesses.

Recent reports of Anti-social behaviour in and around the retail park causing disruption to the general public and local businesses
Action taken:
The Neighbourhood Policing Team will be conducting regular high-visibility and targeted patrols to address anti-social behaviour at SavaCentre Retail Park, Calcot. Patrols will take place at key locations including McDonalds, Sainsbury's and IKEA, as well as other identified hotspot areas.
Officers are working closely with local businesses and partner agencies to identify offenders, prevent further incidents and ensure the area remains a safe place for residents, visitors and staff. -
Priority:
We have received reports of youth-related anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in Linear Park, Calcot and surrounding areas, including the misuse of e-bikes.
Action taken:
The Neighbourhood Policing Team will be conducting regular targeted patrols in identified hotspot areas, engaging with those involved and taking appropriate action where offences are identified. We encourage residents to continue reporting incidents to help us target our resources effectively.
