Your Local Neighbourhood Policing Team
Every neighbourhood in the Thames Valley area has a dedicated neighbourhood policing team that works together with the local community and partners to: reduce crime and incidents, bring more offenders to justice, protect the vulnerable and tackle violence against women and girls and improve victim service and public confidence.
Neighbourhood policing teams are led by senior police officers and include police officers, Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), police staff, police support volunteers and the Special Constabulary.
They aim to make communities safer through an approach that is focussed on visibility, engagement, problem solving and community resilience.

We have received reports of increased drug-related activity and anti-social behaviour in the Meadow Way area of Theale.
Action taken:
The Neighbourhood Policing Team will be conducting regular targeted patrols, including plain-clothed operations, to identify those involved, gather intelligence and disrupt criminal activity. Officers will work with local residents and partner agencies to address concerns and take positive action against offenders.

There have been ongoing reports of anti-social behaviour on Reading Road, Burghfield Common, including incidents involving catapults being used to damage property. This continues to cause disruption and concern within the local community

The Neighbourhood Policing Team will be conducting regular high-visibility patrols in the area to identify those responsible, gather intelligence and provide reassurance to residents. Positive action will be taken against offenders, and the team will continue to work with local residents and partners to address these issues and prevent further incidents.

We have received reports of increased drug use and suspected drug dealing in the Purley Way area of Pangbourne, which is contributing to anti-social behaviour and impacting the local community.
Action taken:
The Neighbourhood Policing Team will be carrying out regular high-visibility patrols to deter offending, gather intelligence and provide reassurance to residents. Officers will take positive action where offences are identified and continue to work with the community and partner agencies to address concerns and improve safety in the area.
