We have received reports of increased drug-related activity and anti-social behaviour in the Meadow Way area of Theale.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team will be conducting regular targeted patrols, including plain-clothes operations, to identify those involved, gather intelligence, and disrupt criminal activity.

As part of ongoing proactive work to tackle drug-related offending, a male from the Theale area has been charged with drug offences. The charge follows an investigation by officers and demonstrates our continued commitment to identifying offenders, gathering evidence, and taking positive action against those involved in criminality.

There have been ongoing reports of anti-social behaviour on Reading Road, Burghfield Common, including incidents involving catapults being used to damage property. This continues to cause disruption and concern within the local community

The Neighbourhood Policing Team will be conducting regular high-visibility patrols in the area to identify those responsible, gather intelligence, and provide reassurance to residents.

A group of youths has now been identified in connection with the reported incidents and has been referred to the Youth Justice Team for intervention and support. The aim is to address the behaviour at an early stage, prevent further offending, and reduce the impact on the local community.

We have received reports of increased drug use and suspected drug dealing in and around Bradfield Recreation Ground, which is contributing to anti-social behaviour and impacting the local community.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team will be carrying out regular high-visibility patrols to deter offending, gather intelligence and provide reassurance to residents. Officers will take positive action where offences are identified and continue to work with the community and partner agencies to address concerns and improve safety in the area.
