    Action taken:

    We continue to receive reports regarding the usage of e-bikes and e-scooters being ridden dangerously on pavements and footpaths and on the road.
    The Wokingham NHPT have been working closely to support Woodley with targeted patrols utilising several resources. These efforts are continuing and we welcome all reports into police either online or via 101 with information that can assist. Police will be seizing the offending bikes and scooters, and they will be disposed of.

    We would like to remind anyone who may be thinking of purchasing and E-scooter / E-bike or Sur-Ron that it is illegal to use these vehicles on roads or in a public space. Any children being identified will be dealt with alongside parents.

    Action taken:

    The Woodley Neighbourhood Team are continuing to tackle Anti-Social Behaviour within the local parks and within the Town Centre. Recent reports have indicated a rise in concern around the Loddon Vale and Sandford area.

    The Woodley neighbourhood team have been increasing patrols within to deter and detect any ASB and will seek to identify any young persons involved or suspected to be involved in causing anti-social behaviour.

    Police regularly work in conjunction with the local council and housing teams regarding individuals who have been causing concern to residents. The police and council will be taking a joint agency approach to deal with individuals.

    We would like to remind parents that your children are your responsibility, and you should be aware of where they are and what they are doing when out and about in the community. Also, if you are witnessing anti-social behaviour, we urge you to please report this to police so we can build up a bigger picture.

    Action taken:

    Following reports from the public a proactive operation resulted in a vehicle being located and stopped , police located cans of Nitrous Oxide which is a Class C prohibited drug. We will always take a robust approach with any suspects where drugs and vehicles are involved. Police will be mounting visible patrols to proactively stop and speak to any persons and vehicles located in hotspot areas to detect and deter any offenses.
