  • Priority:

Anti-social behaviour around the Princes Risborough area has been highlighted as a priority by the community. Data surrounding anti-social behaviour In Risborough showed that there were 75 reported incidents in the last 12 months, this is down from the previous year in which 95 incidences were recorded amounting to a 21% reduction. 55 of the 75 reported incidents were recorded as community anti-social behaviour, there were 11 personal incidents of anti-social behaviour (this is anti-social behaviour against one person rather than individuals causing general disturbance to the community) and 9 environmental incidents of anti-social behaviour. Residents have highlighted concerns around youths congregating and causing noise and mess around Hughenden Park, occurring mainly during the evenings and weekends when the young people are not in school. In addition there have been multiple reports of motorbikes being ridden around Earl Mitchell Park and Wades Park.

    Issued 01 June 2025

    Action taken:

The neighbourhood team will be carrying out high visibility patrols around these areas with increased reports of anti-social behaviour in order disrupt this when seen, reassure the public and gather intelligence. They will also be carrying out partnership working with Buckinghamshire council, who regularly help TVP to achieve new solutions which is specifically helpful when the behaviour does not meet the criminal threshold. The team will continue to hold their regular have your say events around locations reported to have issues to provide a police presence and speak to residents about crime prevention advice and any concerns they have for their local community.
If you have any information please report on 101 or online at www.thamesvalley.police.uk.
Call 999 if crime in progress or you are at risk of harm.

  • Priority:

Burglary is another priority voted for by the community, so the neighbourhood team will continue their prevention efforts to ensure the offence continues to be reduced. In the last 12 month period, there has been 27 burglaries reported in the Princes Risborough area.

    Issued 07 June 2025

    Action taken:

The team will continue to conduct high visibility patrols around areas reported to be impacted by burglary, utilising their late shifts to carry out the patrols in darker hours.
They will also be communicating with the community to distribute crime prevention advice, this will assist residents to target harden their home and make it an unattractive prospect for burglars. The team hold regular have your say events for this purpose, setting up pop up police stands around various locations in the Princes Risborough area to reach as many residents as possible. These will be advertised on the events section of this page, on social media or via our TV Alerts system.
In light of any recent burglars, the team will carry out a process called “cocooning,” in which they will visit the surrounding area of a home that has just been burgled to distribute burglary prevention advice to households.

If you have any information please report via 101 or online at www.thamesvalley.police.uk.
Call 999 if crime in progress or you are at risk of harm.
