Speeding concerns covering all parishes in the Risborough and surrounding areas has been identified as a community priority.
PCSO 9588 CUBBAGE is the Speeding SPOC and has taken personal responsibility for tackling speeding issues in Princes Risborough and Surrounding areas.

The Risborough neighbourhood team have been increasing their speeding operations around school areas and reported hotspots from community speed watch and residents. Speed surveys were most recently completed in North Dean and Bradenham, several drivers were witnessed exceed the 30mph speed limit. Information gained from speed surveys will help to inform future speed enforcement operation.

Burglary Dwellings around Princes Risborough have been regarded as a priority by the community. This was highlighted from community survey completed by the public and qualitative data gathered at Have your Says. In the last rolling 12-month period there have been 34 reported burglaries for the period compared to 26 in the previous period. For the Princes Risborough policing area, rural burglaries are usually a concern, particularly during the winter periods. Burglary statistic will be compared monthly with each passing month to identify if the actions set deter further reports. The rates of burglaries in the area remain low at this time, the team will continue with preventative efforts to ensure the number continues to be reduced.

Monthly “Have your say” events continue to be conducted in locations around Princes Risborough, the focus of these events is not only to listen to local concerns but also to offer crime prevention advice to residents. Advising people on how they can make their homes unattractive prospects for burglars will play a large part in reducing and preventing burglary. Nighttime and evening patrols in hotspot and rural locations continue to take place with the aim to detect and deter burglary and any other offending.

ASB around the Princes Risborough area has been Highlighted by the community as a priority. Results derived from the community survey ASB In Risborough from showed there were 175 reported incidents in the last 12 months. Up from the previous year which recorded 121 incidences of ASB.
This is an increase of 45%.

94 of the 173 reported incidents were recorded as community ASB; Compared to 14 personal ASB and 7 Environmental.

May 2026 there were 15 ASB community, 0 ASB environmental 1 personal

This statistic will be compared monthly with each passing month to identify if the actions set deter further reports

The team have issued Acceptable Behaviour contracts (ABC) to youths seen to be causing issues in the community. It is a voluntary contract between the individual and police that aims to intervene and prevent further anti-social behaviour before it has to escalate to more formal legal action. It also teaches the young people the impact of their anti-social behaviour, the dangers of continuing this behaviour into adulthood and also offers them assistance to change their habits.

The team have increased their presence at Hughenden park, carrying out increased patrols and conducting Have your Say events in the area to speak with residents about the issues and what the plan is tackle them. Recently, one of the bikes being ridden illegally has been seized and the rider reported for riding with no license by 2.There have been further concerns of motorbikes being ridden dangerously in multiple woodland areas around Princes Risborough and surrounding areas, the team will seek to issue warnings and seize where appropriate
